MANGAN, 04 May: The district level inter-school quiz competition 2014 for middle school students of North district was held on 03 May. The quiz competition is being organized by 24 hours inspired and juice manufacturers, Russ.
18 students participated in the quiz competition held at Mangan Senior Secondary School auditorium while the state level final round will be held on 10 May at Gangtok.
The programme was chaired by Joint Director, HRDD, Sonam Lepcha, Deputy Director, RN Singh, Principal MSSS and teachers. Chairperson, Sonam Lepcha said that students should be prepared to face the state level competition and also thanked Chief Learning Officer, 24 hours inspired, Mr. Basnet for his inspiring job.
Students from six schools, MSSS, Little Flower, Tasa Tengay, Singhik, Pakshep and Mangshila were selected for the district level quiz competition. Little Flower JHS stood first, Singhik SS stood second followed by Tasa Tengay SS on third position.
The winners of the quiz competition were handed over certificates and trophies and will now participate in the state level quiz competition at Gangtok which is scheduled to be attended by the Governor of Sikkim, Shriniwas Patil as the chief guest.
