GANGTOK, 04 Oct: Acoustic Traditional [NGO] is organizing a valedictory concert for the ‘one-page project’ on Saturday.
A press release issued by the organization informs that the state Culture Department has agreed to keep a copy of the one-page book. The organization will be handing over the copy of the book to the department during the programme on Saturday. A music and storytelling concert in collaboration with the Sikkim Conservatory School of Music is also part of the programme.
The release informs that the storytelling session will include legends of Guru Padmasambhava and unpublished folktales of the region while Sikkim Conservatory will be performing traditional folk, Buddhist ritual and Shaman’s ritual music.
The programme is being held at the Mini Auditorium at Mannan Kendra, New Secretariat, Development Area, Gangtok from 5 PM onwards. The organization has invited all to part of the event.
