The Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls had started on 31st August 2013 for inclusion, deletion, correction and transfer of names in the Voters List.
Though the last date for receipt of application forms was initially fixed for 30th September 2013, considering the request from the public, the Election Commission of India has now extended the last date upto 10th October 2013.
All those who are already 18 years and above, including those who would be attaining 18 years of age as on 1st January 2014, are eligible to include their names in the Voter List.
Names of voters can be included or deleted or corrected or transferred from one Polling Station to another Polling Station during this period.
Since the last date now is 10th October 2013, the Election Department appeals to all the eligible persons to apply for inclusion of their names in the Voter List before the last date.
Application Forms are available with the Booth Level Officer of the Polling Station concerned. The Forms can also be obtained from the nearest BDO or SDM or District Collector.
The public may also call on 1950 (Toll Free Number) from any landline telephone for any clarification or assistance.
