MANGAN, 24 Oct: The four-day Denzong Neysol Shapten organised by the public of Toong-Naga GPU, which had begun at the Ugen Samdoling Manastery in Naga, North Sikkim, on 20 October concluded on Sunday.
The prayers were conducted especially for those who lost their lives in the 18 September Earthquake and also for the well being of Sikkim and the world. Around 100 monks of the monastery, including the Omje and Dorje Lopen, performed the Neysol Shapten.
On the last day of the prayers, Tulku Kunzang Tempey Gyaltsen (Rongey Rinpoche), bestowed ‘chedup wang’ to the general public. Panchayat Secretary, Toong-Naga GPU, Dorjee Tak Lepcha express his gratitude to all who extended their support for the puja.
