Music video of Bimla Pradhan’s latest offering released

GANGTOK, 12 May: The music video of Nepali song ‘Saanjh Bhayo, Andhakaar Bhayo’ from the album “Zindagi” by singer Bimla Pradhan was released by T Lachungpa today. The music video also features paintings of the singer.
The song is composed by Ms. Pradhan while her husband Shyam Pradhan has penned the lyrics. The concept and direction of the video has also been done by Mr Pradhan as well. The video features around 45 paintings by Ms. Pradhan.
In his address, Mr. Lachungpa appreciated the music video as well as the paintings. He added that appreciation, support and platform for artists are needed to further encourage them to contribute more to the society.
Ms Pradhan mentioned that she has done more than 100 paintings and had always wanted to exhibit them. In this music video she has got the chance to showcase her art work, she added further stating that everyone has talent which should be used properly.
Shyam Pradhan informed that there are no models in the music video but instead the paintings convey the emotions of the song.
Bimla Pradhan has to her credit different audio albums, collection and solo albums – Expression and Zindagi. She was the lead playback singer in Baachna Chahane Haru, a hit Nepali Feature Film of 1981. Her songs ‘Naya – Naya Ghaam Ko Kiran’, ‘Ma Ta Mandina’ and ‘Meetho Meetho Timro Saath Meetho’ became popular among the music lovers then.  She is all set to releas an album of bhajans, ‘Kanha’, in the near future.
