Football clubs and SFA meet and discuss

GANGTOK, 11 May: A meeting of Sikkim Football Association (SFA) and representatives of various 2nd Division S-League clubs and Sikkim Premier Division Clubs was convened at Football House, Gangtok on Saturday.
An SFA press release informs that the meeting discussed the new player registration system introduced by the All India Football Federation [AIFF], proposed AFC “C” license certificate course to be held at Gangtok from 05 June, reduction in the limit of fielding U-19 players, granting of membership of SFA to one member of each club that has been participating in local league tournaments for the last 5 years and the necessity of holding Referees Course in Sikkim.
The SFA team led by its general secretary, Menla Ethenpa deliberated on these issues while Chairman, SFA Referee Board, Karun Pradhan explained to the clubs the new system of Players Registration through a power point presentation.
At the end, SFA and the representatives of the clubs pledged to work in tandem for the development of football in Sikkim, the release adds.
