GANGTOK, 19 Feb: Rajya Sabha MP, OT Lepcha received a warm farewell at Sikkim House in New Delhi on Saturday. He is completing his six-year tenure as Rajya Sabha MP on 23 February. The farewell was attended by the Governor, Balmiki Prasad Singh, Lok Sabha MP, PD Rai, Sikkim House Chief Commissioner, Sikkim government officials and Sikkim cadre IPS, IAS and IFS.
The Governor congratulated Mr Lepcha for successfully representing the state in the parliament by raising various state issues to draw the attention of the Centre. Likewise, Lok Sabha MP and other officials congratulated him for working as a bridge between the Centre and the State.
