The celebration started with the hoisting of the National Flag followed by singing of the National Anthem. The press release informs that the programme also saw presentation of patriotic songs by students.
In his address, Harkamaya College of Education Principal, Prof PL Mohapatra said that the future generation of the country should celebrate Independence Day with pride ignoring all regional and cultural imbalances.
