Pune District Cooperative Society Federation members and bikers call on Governor

GANGTOK, 24 Oct: A group comprising of thirty members of the Pune District Cooperative Society Federation, led by the Secretary of the Federation, Sahaji Ranawade called on the Governor of Sikkim, Shriniwas Patil at Raj Bhawan today.
In a special function here at Raj Bhawan, the Governor felicitated all the group members for their noble cause, informs a press release. The group was on a three-day study tour to Sikkim. The Secretary on behalf of the Federation was grateful to the Governor for having spared his valuable time and words of encouragement, the release adds.
Also today, a delegation of bikers comprising of six members of the Namaskar group led by Ajit Pradhan called on the Governor.
The Governor felicitated the group [which moves on the theme “on wheels in quest of knowledge”] for their effort and tenacity in travelling on motorcycles from Pune to Nathula.
