Tumin Lingee MLA inspects on progress of relief measures

MANGAN, 07 Nov:  Area MLA Tumin-Lingee constituency cum Chief Whip Ugen T Gyatso Bhutia visited Lower Kambal area under 16 Tumin-Lingee constituency as a follow-up visit to check on relief measures carried out in the area.
 Mr. Bhutia had earlier visited each and every corner of the affected areas after the 18 September earthquake providing relief to the affected people.
During this visit, the MLA visited each house at Lower Kambal and interacted with the people inquiring whether relief had been provided to the genuinely affected people.  He also inspected the on-going construction under the Chief Minister’s Rural Housing Mission in different areas.
The area MLA also sanctioned the construction of houses under the Indira Awas Yojna (IAY) to genuine and needy families during his visit.
The Durga Mandir committee of Lower Kambal extended its gratitude to the MLA and presented a citation for his contribution in the construction of the Mandir.  The MLA directed the committee to develop the mandir further.
During his visit to Lower Kambal Primary School, the area MLA assured the upgradation of the playground of the school and informed that the teachers should shoulder the responsibility in moulding the future of the children.   He also informed the villagers that there should be contribution from everyone to make the Tumin-Lingee constituency a model constituency in the state.
The MLA was accompanied by Zilla member, Saraswati Regmi, ward panchayat, DN Pokhrel, chelis, youth and the villagers.
