NAMCHI, 01 Apr: The Sikkim Democratic Front’s South district committee members, youth, cheli morcha functionaries and volunteers gathered at party office today and proceeded to locations around town, putting up posters calling support for a 48-hour state-wide bandh on 04 and 05 April to register the party’s protest against private companies and hydel projects which were not hiring local employees despite having signed an MoU undertaking to do so.

lol ... its your party which is running the government...why dont you tell them to enforce the MoU which they signe with the private companies instead of causing inconvenience to the general public...why this gimmick!!!
