TMC Lok Sabha candidate assures to work for Sikkim

GANGTOK, 08 Apr: Trinamool Congress [TMC], Lok Sabha candidate, Nakul Das Rai has assured to work in the interest of Sikkim and its people regardless of whether he wins or loses in the upcoming elections. His fortnight-long campaign has received good response and support from the people, he informs.
Addressing a press conference here today, Mr Rai stated that he joined TMC to work for the Sikkimese people. He said that he would focus on “restoring democracy” in the state and removing economic disparity by working towards providing equal rights and opportunities.
At present the state is witnessing violence, name-calling and allegations between the two main political parties, said Mr Rai, adding that both these parties should not fool the people with false promises and instead come up with issues that affect the people of the state.
The TMC candidate attacked both the SDF and SKM parties and accused them of opportunism and making impossible promises.
