AFC ‘C’ coaching licence for 3 from Sikkim


GANGTOK, 28 April: Alen Tshering Bhutia, Bhaskar Limboo and Anil Tamang, who were nominated by Sikkim Football Association to undergo training in AFC 'C' Licence course for coaches conducted by Asian Football Confederation and All India Football Federation, have successfully passed the examination.
They will be awarded the ACF 'C' Licence Soccer Coach Certificate. Mr. Bhutia and Mr. Limboo attended this course in Guwahati from 15 to 30 October 2009, while Mr. Tamang too this course from 23 Oct to 06 Nov 2010.
Sharing this update with the media today, the SFA general secretary, Menla Ethenpa, said that SFA has been endeavouring to extend this training to more and more youth from Sikkim so that could groom more Bhaichungs in the days to come.
The SFA president, Tempo Bhutia, also congratulated the trio and said that with this certificate, they could now coach budding football players officially. SFA is more happy with the fact that all these three coaches who has passed this examination are from the districts, an SFA release adds.
