Shillong’s Royal Wahingdoh shortlists 10 from Sikkim for final trials

NAMCHI, 18 Nov: Royal Wahingdoh, a reputed football club from Shillong, conducted selection trials for the club here at Namchi today. More than 100 players from various parts of the State participated in the try-outs, of whom 10 were shortlisted for the final trials. The trial was conducted by the Head Coach of the club, Mr. Bobby and assistant coach Mr. Marcus.
The final trials will be held in Shillong.
The top 6 players out of the 10 selected will travel to Shillong on the club’s expenses while the remaining 4 will have to bear their own expenses, it is informed.
Those who get selected in the final trials will be provided free education and boarding by the club in Shillong. Their skills will be nurtured further by the club making them more professional in the game of football, the team management informs.
