GANGTOK, 24 Jan: The Sikkim Himali Rajya Parishad Party’s CEC meeting held here at the residence of its party president Dr. AD Subba at Tadong today decided to celebrate the party’s 10th anniversary on a somber note on 02 February.
The meeting also discussed the latest petition filed in the Supreme Court against the Chief Minister and the State Government. While welcoming 23 January Supreme Court notice to the Central Government, CBI, Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues, Dr. Subba demanded that the Chief Minister resign from his post on moral grounds and allow CBI to carry out an independent investigation into the allegations.
