Justice Kohli to be sworn in Sikkim CJ on Monday


GANGTOK, 09 Dec: The Chief Justice designate for the Sikkim High Court, Justice Permod Kohli, is tentatively scheduled to be sworn in on 12 December, 2011, Monday.
He will take over from Justice SP Wangdi who has been serving as the Acting Chief Justice ever since Justice PD Dinakaran resigned as Chief Justice of the Sikkim High Court earlier this year. Justice Kohli was a judge in the Punjab and Haryana High Court before his elevation to the post of Chief Justice of the Sikkim High Court. Officials of the High Court here are already planning for the reception and swearing in ceremony of the new Chief Justice.
