Old stone structured houses built in Sikkimese style have been proved very vulnerable in the wake of recent earthquake. Bamboo houses are the best alternative in arthquake prone zone like Sikkim. Alas! We cannnot built hydro power dams with bamboos. To save Dzongu from future catastrophe all power projects in the area should be scrapped.
