GANGTOK, 30 Aug: The Sikkim Legislative Assembly passed the First Supplementary demands for Grants 2011-2012 projected at Rs. 500.36 crore unanimously without discussions today. The demand was introduced in the house by the CM on Monday.
Similarly, the Excess Demands for Grants 2006-2007 pegged at Rs. 2,63,38,485 under Revenue Section and Rs. 95,080 under Capital Section also tabled by the leader of the House yesterday was passed without discussions.
The Siddhesvara Dham Bill introduced by the Tourism Minister, Bhim Dhungel and the Sikkim Anti- Drugs (Amendment) Bill introduced by the Health Minister, DN Thakarpa were also passed unanimously by the house today without discussions. Both the bills were tabled on Monday.

The House also saw the passing of the Sikkim Appropriation Bill without discussions today; the Bill was tabled by the CM yesterday.
The Leader of the House simultaneously laid copies of the Sikkim Online Gaming (Regulation) Amendment Rules, The Sikkim Casino Game (Control and Tax) Amendment Rules 2011 and The Strategic Policing Plan for Sikkim and Annual Policing Sub- Plan- 2011-2012 on the table of the House today.
Further, documents like the Tour of the Hon’ble Chief Minister to different villages and places in the State beginning from 17 May, 2011: Demands submitted by the Members of the Public/ Gram Panchayats, Vol.I, II & III of East, West and South Districts, The List of public demands submitted to Hon’ble MLAs/ Hon’ble Ministers in respect to North District and deliberations and Announcements along with list of Sanctions for Implementation in the Next Three Years were also placed in the August House today.
The Annual reports of all departments and Commissions were also laid on the table of the House chaired by Speaker, KT Gyaltsen today.
