SGC-Tadong alumni in Limca Book of Records for obtaining 14 PG degrees from 09 Univs!

Alumnus of Sikkim Government College, Tadong, and St. Xavier’s School, Pakyong, Anil Kumar Yadav has entered the “Limca Book of Records”. Mr Yadav’s name will feature in the 2016 edition of “Limca Book of Records” for obtaining “14 Post Graduation Degrees from 09 Universities covering 7 States and Union Territories”.
Mr. Yadav graduated from SGC-Tadong in 1989 and has pursued his studies since then mainly through distance mode and had obtained 14 Masters degrees on last count [till 2014] in various disciplines such as Economics, Sociology, International Relations, Mass Communication, Nepali, Environment & Development, M.Com (IBO), M.Com(BIM), MFM, MBA, M.Phil (Labour Studies) , M.Sc (Psychology), MFA (CFA) and MCJ.
The universities which have awarded him the degrees include Jadavpur University (West Bengal), IGNOU (Delhi), University of Madras, Annamalai University, Madurai Kamaraj University (Tamil Nadu), Gauhati University (Assam), Pondicherry University (Puducherry ), ICFAI University (Tripura) and Kurukshetra University (Haryana). Mr Yadav was also awarded the University/Gold Medal by Jadavpur University for standing first-class-first in his MA (Environment & Development) degree in 2010.
At present Mr Yadav is serving as Director (Institutional Finance)-cum-Additional Secretary in the Finance Department, Government of Gujarat on deputation from Reserve Bank of India.
