The Inter Indian Public School under-19 Football tournament being hosted by Tashi Namgyal Academy in Gangtok officially kicked off with the draw of fixtures at the school library on 21 August. The 12 participating teams were represented by their respective Managers/ Coach, informs a press communique received from the TNA principal.
The 12 teams have been divided into four groups with last year’s champions, Moti Lal Nehru School of Sports, placed in Group A and the runners up team, The Mann Public School, in Group B. The host school is in Group-D alongside The Doon School, Dehradun, and Modern School, Barakhamba, Delhi.
The matches are scheduled to commence from 22 August at 8.30 a.m. at the TNA Ground Four matches are scheduled per day till the quarter finals.
