GANGTOK, 20 Mar: Sikkim Democratic Front [SDF]
institutionalized democratic socialism and inclusive politics in Sikkim, stated
SDF spokesperson, Bhim Dahal today. He added that the ruling party has been
moving forward committed to this ideology for the past two decades in the
state.
Speaking at a press conference today, he refuted allegations
leveled by the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha that SDF has been copying SKM
ideologies and programmes. He counter alleged that it was in fact the SKM party
that has no ideology of its own and is copying the ruling party’s programmes.
On the four candidates announced by SKM so far, he stated
that the ruling party has seasoned leaders in these constituencies so SKM cannot
hope to win in these areas. He also added that the ruling candidates have been
getting full support from the people of their respective areas.
