SICB beautician trainees to undergo on-job training in Madhya Pradesh


GANGTOK, 10 Oct: Trainees of the six-month training programme on Hair, Beauty and SPA being conducted in State Institute of Capacity Building [SICB] were deputed for on-job training at Indore, Madhya Pradesh today. The trainees will be trained at Zivaya SPA for another three months there.
A press release informs that the trainees will be provided with a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 8,000 during the period of three months along with accommodation. After the completion of the three-month training all of them will be placed by Zivaya SPA at different locations in the metros and big cities.
The SICB earlier finalized the on-job training and placement of 30 trainees on minimum salaries of Rs 12,000 to 15,000 with accommodation. The campus interview, selection process and soft skill training was conducted after the selection of the candidates. Out of the forty trainees of the institute ten trainees refused the offer for personal reasons.
The release adds that SICB is further looking forward to train and place the trainees in lucrative sectors like Hotel Management and Catering Services, Tour Guides, Chef and BPO. A few days ago the SICB deputed nearly forty trainees of Kewzing Livelihood School for Hotel Management and Catering Services for outreach and Industrial Training in five star hotels at Jaipur, Gujarat and Pune.
The trainees are likely to be selected on the basis of their performance in these hotels after the industrial training and the course is completed, the release further mentions.
