Your advertisement OUR TIME IS YOURS, YOUR PROBLEM IS OURS comes as a big mockery at a time when the State of Sikkim is facing a major crisis in LPG availability.
Every day every dealer of yours in the State has serpentine queues of hassled consumers trying to solve their problem.In a State where there no regulatory mechanism was established for the past decades no system of advance booking of gas, no home delivery, no entry in the Gas Book,you suddenly want to impose such stringent rules ?
A consumer is asked to produce a cash memo of her gas connection which may have been in the 70s, failing which file an FIR, so a queue at the Thana. The other alternative is to submit an affidavit so another queue at the counter and at the Advocate's.
All this harrassment even when a consumer possesses the MOST VALID DOCUMENT, the DOMESTIC GAS CONSUMER CARD. Please go through the last page of the book which reads "this document is your official identification of being an authorised bonafide LPG consumer etc HENCE IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT THIS DOCUMENT IS PRESERVED CAREFULLY AND SAFELY BY YOU AS A PERMENENT RECORD."
So Consumers who possess this document should not be harassed in this manner.
If you have fake consumers, you have every right to screen them but not at the cost of harassing each and every one of us who have been your bonafide consumers.
