Sikkim scribes on PIB’s Rajasthan press tour


GANGTOK, March 12: Nine journalists from Sikkim will be setting off for a 10-day press tour to Rajasthan on 13 March. The tour has been organised and sponsored by the Public Information Bureau, Government of India. Scribes from both, local dailies and weeklies, are led by Director, PIB Gangtok CK Dorji.
The exposure tour, Mr. Dorji said will have journalists explore and witness the flagship programmes of the Government of India being implement in three places - Jaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. The journos will also be touring places of historical importance in all the three places beginning from the pink city.
The nine journalists are Pabitra Bhandari, Executive Editor, Hamro Prajashakti, Yishey D, Sub Editor, Sikkim Express Bhim Rawat, Executive Editor, Himali Bela, Anand Oberoi, Sr. Correspondent, Sikkim Now!-PTI Sikkim, Bishnu Neopaney, Sr. Reporter, Himalayan Mirror, Shekhar Khawas, Reporter, Himalaya Darpan, Kamal Mukhia, Editor, Janmanch and Dilliram Dulal, Sub Editor, Samay Dainik.
