USFC thrashes Guwahati Town Club 4-1


GANGTOK, 12 April: United Sikkim Football Club [USFC] thrashed Guwahati Town Club 4 goals to one in its second-last match of the qualifiers today at Jawaharlall Nehru Stadium, Guwahati, in ongoing second division I-League.
Budhiram Tudu scored his second brace of the tournament in the 18th and 43rd minutes, while two more goals were contributed by John Meyongar in the 57th minute and Joseph Laripa in the 81st minute. Budhiram, it may be recalled, had scored a brace in the Club’s last match as well against Simla Young’s [Delhi] which USFC had won 2-0.
USFC’s last match is scheduled against Golden Threads on 14 April.
