NAMCHI, 23 Nov: The newly elected people’s representatives in the recently concluded two-tier Panchayat election will now pledge to work for the public that elected them in South District.
As learnt from the office of the South District Collector, the meeting cum oath taking ceremony for the newly elected Zilla Panchayat members will be held on 27 November at the Conference Hall of District Administrative Centre, Namchi South Sikkim at 11 AM. The oath taking ceremony for the Ward Panchayats will be held the next day on 28 November at 11 AM at Indoor Gymnasium Hall, Namchi, South Sikkim.
Further, the District Administration has invited all the newly elected Zilla and Ward panchayats to attend the oath taking ceremony.
