Kamling School bids farewell to headmistress


PURAN TAMANG
KAMLING, 25 Feb: Government Secondary School, Kamling, West Sikkim, yesterday organised a farewell programme for headmistress Shakun Subba, who retired from duty in November last year. She was honoured with a felicitation letter and traditional khadas.
School staff, students, and the local public expressed gratitude towards Mrs. Subba for her services and contributions to the field of education during her tenure at Kamling. On the occasion, students of the school presented a number of colourful cultural performances and a ‘Bidai Song’ especially composed by the school for the farewell.
Also on the day, the new Headmistress, Lata Sharma, was accorded a warm welcome to the school.
