Trees cut down at Singtam for public safety

GANGTOK, 08 Nov: In view of public safety, a team from the Forest Department today brought down two mango trees in Singtam which were posing a threat to the general public.
The team was assisted by the JE, Power Department, Dilip Cintury along with some linemen. The RO, Singtam, Manjit Kharel, BO, Anuj Gurung, Singtam Police and large number of public were present at the site. [from NANDU DUTRAJ]
