GANGTOK, 01 Apr: SDF Upper Burtuk candidate, DR Thapa, today met the public at Linding area as part of his election campaign.
Urging voters to spare a few minutes on 12 April to cast their vote, Mr. Thapa said, “In return I will devote five years in the government completely to the public”. He appealed to the people to give him an opportunity to serve them.
“The SKM party president and former Upper Burtuk MLA, PS Tamang [Golay] has wasted his time in government,” Mr. Thapa alleged and added that much work needs to be done in the next five years in the area.
