GYALSHING, 21 Mar [IPR]: Expenditure
Observer, Rupender Brar appointed by the Election Commissioner of India for
General Election 2014 in Sikkim had a meeting today with Expenditure Cell,
West, at Conference Hall, DAC.
Ms. Brar highlighted the aims and
objectives of the Election Expenditure & Monitoring Committee and stated
that there should be complete check and control over the flow of cash and other
items that would influence the public while exercising their franchise. Various
relevant instructions regarding expenditure were also discussed in order to
comply with standing instructions of the Election Commissioner in respect of
the expenditure monitoring.
