GANGTOK,
09 Apr: The DNA Club of Holy Cross School here conducted a quiz competition for
the club members at the school today.
A
press release informs that the quiz was conducted on biodiversity and the Blood
Pheasant group won the competition with 126 points. Group Dendrobium Nobile and
Red Panda came second and third respectively. All the members of the DNA Club
of the school were present for the programme.
The DNA
Club had also conducted a poster making competition; the winners were Soumyajit
Ganguly in first position, Yankee Doma Sherpa in second and Soyeohang Subba in
third position. Consolation prizes were also awarded to four students, the
release adds.
The
winners were presented prizes by Shyam Kumar Pradhan, a senior teacher of the
school.
