As per a press release, Zilla Panchayat member Lhakmit Bhutia, panchayats of Rongong Tumlong GPU, students, gathered audiences of all ages, local gentries, football enthusiasts from in and around the Kabi-Lungtsok Constituency were present on the occasion.
Singye dance performed by Rongong Youth club was the highlight of the day. Other cultural programmes were also performed by students of JNV, Phodong, Govt. Sr. Sec. School Phodong.
JNV Phodong defeated Phodong Sr. Sec. School in tie breaker by a margin of 5: 3 goals while in another match played between Phodong United and Young Star Phensong, the former won by three goals to nil, the release informs.
