ANGTOK, 18 June: The State Government, in a Circular issued on Monday, 16 June, has revoked all permissions given under Rule 7 of Sikkim Government Servants (Conduct) Rules, 1981, and directed that “henceforth, no Government Servant shall be allowed to become a member of any association”. The Circular has been issued by the Department of Personnel details that the new conduct rule was in supersession of all permissions granted earlier to govt servants to join association.
