Committee formed for Sarva Dharma Samman Bhawan Majhitar

GANGTOK, 02 Aug: Sri Sathya Sai Sewa organization Majhitar has formed a committee for the construction of Sarva Dharma Samman Bhawan at Majhitar.

The organization conducted a daylong meeting on 31 August to discuss the construction of Sarva Dharma Samman Bhawan at Majhitar under West Pendam constituency  East Sikkim.

A press release informs that the main objective of the meeting was to inform people and develop consensus on constituting committee for Bhawan Nirman. It was also to generate awareness on the need of Bal Vikash Kendra for imparting spiritual education among the children of  the locality.

The meeting was presided over by Councilor of Majhitar ward Purna Bdr. Chhetri and attended by District president of Sri Sathya Sai organization East, Pemchung Lepcha, Samithy Convener Dr. DS Tewari amongst others.

 

Week-long summer course organised by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Org

GANGTOK, 09 July: Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation organised a week-long summer course on the theme “Sai and I” for third year Bal Vikas students and alumni at the Sarva Dharma Kendra, Daramdin from 30-05 July.
As per a press release, the third group of 151 students took part in the course where resource persons from in-and-around Gangtok gave lessons on yoga, vedas and Indian classical music along with other activities.
The course emphasised on ‘Bharatiya culture and spirituality’ while students were also taught to invoke deeper sense of love, compassion and spiritual awareness, the release adds.
