MANGAN, 08 Nov: “Srimad Bhagat Mahayajna” along with Vedpath and Saptasati path was held here today at Omkareshwar Shiv Mandir, Lower Tumin in East Sikkim. The yajna was carried out by 17 purohits and pandits of Tumin and Samdong area.
The yajna was performed in the name of those victims who had lost their lives and properties in the earthquake of 18 September with prayers to restore peace and normalcy in the state of Sikkim and its people who are still living with the fear and shock of the earthquake.
The yajna was organized by the committee of Aapgachi Adyatmik Chintan Sangh, Lower Tumin with the financial support provided by Ecclesiastical Deptt, Govt of Sikkim.
