GANGTOK, 07 Nov: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Gangtok in collaboration with various youth clubs, SHGs and volunteers from National Youth Corps observed Vigilance Week from 31 Oct to 06 Nov at Perbing, Ranka, Luing, Dara Gaon and NKK Office, informs a press release issued by the District Youth Coordinator, NYK, Gangtok, Puran Chettri.
The event was organized in order to create mass awareness on social evils like, corruption, child labour and other pertinent issues.
Apart from awareness on various aspects of the issues, participants were also informed about the Vigilance Office in Gangtok and were urged to seek help from District Administration and Police in times of need, the release adds.
