The ceremony is supposed to be the initiation for the main Puja or the "Pran Prastisha" which will be performed by Sri Jadadguru Sankaryacharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswati on 08 Nov.
During the puja, Minister Rural Management and Development Department, CB Karki along with a host of other dignitaries were also present.
Mr. Chamling after the puja also inspected the last minute preparation for the main puja which is due on Tuesday.
