Health Exhibition for schools

GANGTOK, 06 Nov: State IEC Bureau under Department of Health Care & Human Service organized a Health exhibition on different subjects with a view to create awareness among students and teachers on 04 November at Ranka Senior Secondary School.
The attending students were encouraged to ask questions which they did by asking many questions regarding adolescence, smoking and other non communicable disease which was explained in the group discussion. They were made aware on personal hygienic and environmental sanitation.
A similar exhibition was also organized at Samlik Marchak Rumtek and a press release issued by Joint Director, State IEC Bureau informs that such programmes will continue in other schools too.
