NAMCHI, 11 Nov: A free Legal Aid Clinic was organized by the District Legal Services Authority [DLSA] South/West under the banner of ‘National Legal Literacy Fortnight’ here today at the Sikip Block Administrative Center premises.
The programme was attended by advocates who provided legal counseling to the villagers on different cases. The members of the DLSA expressed that the villagers are unaware of legal proceedings of the court due to which they fail to seek justice and exercise their rights and in this clinic they can discuss any legal matter with the members of the DLSA. The programme was also attended by the BDO Sikip, Bishal Mukhia.
