GANGTOK, 20 Aug: Continuing its series of awareness camps and business meets, NEDFi Gangtok Branch conducted another programme today at Hotel Chumbi Residency. The programme was attended by 45 participants.
As per a press release, the Branch Manager, Nawang Pintso Bhutia opened the session with his deliberations on the aims and objectives of NEDFi followed by a presentation on the activities taken up by NEDFi as a whole and in particular, financial assistance provided to entrepreneurs in Sikkim during the last financial year. He also highlighted the various schemes with special emphasis on the soft rate of interest on loans granted by the corporation.
The BFC Mentor, PT Sherpa made a soulful presentation on the different tenets of establishing Business Enterprises. He also explained the possibilities of activities that can be taken up as new opportunities and that any new venture can be assisted by NEDFi.
It was more of a session on reaching out where he requested all participants to act like ambassadors of NEDFi in passing on the message so that small entrepreneurs can benefit, the release mentions.
The programme ended with an open session where many relevant topics were discussed and satisfying answers were provided by NEDFi.
