GANGTOK, 18 Aug: Human Resource Development Department thrashed Social Justice Department today in the second day match of the ongoing 3rd Inter Departmental Football Tournament here at Paljor Stadium. HRDD registered a convincing victory of five goals to one. Dhan Kumar Chettri of Social Justice was adjudged the Man of the Match.
The other match of the day, between Sikkim Nationalised Transport and Irrigation Department ended in a 1-1 draw. Irrigation Department goalkeeper Zigmi Bhutia was declared the Man of the Match.
The second day of the tournament had Indian football team stopper, Nirmal Chettri as the chief guest.
