Weeklong eco drive concludes at Enchey School

GANGTOK, 05 June: A weeklong “Environment Conservation, Awareness and Plantation Drive” concluded on World Environment Day on Thursday here at Enchey Govt Senior Secondary School.
The NSS Volunteers of the school played an instrumental role in the weeklong initiative and also organized today’s function, a press release informs. Additional Director, Finance, Tenzing Shenga, was present as chief guest accompanied by Tsheringkee Chingapa, Principal of the school.
The chief guest, on behalf of the Enchey Alumni handed over cash prizes of Rs 8,000 to the class X topper Kursongmit Lepcha (84%)  and Rs 12,000 to Divya Sharma, the class XII topper. The NSS volunteers also undertook a cleanliness and plantation drive at the school campus.
