GANGTOK, 04 June: Sikkim Sewa Samman awardee Remanti Rai will soon be releasing the music video of her single ‘Mann’ from her second album ‘On Air’.
A press release informs that Mann is one of the two songs from her recently released album and the promo of the song’s music video was uploaded on Youtube on 26 May. The 30 second promo has since had 5398 views.
The music video is directed by Mandira Chettri and stars models Gagan Shahi, Anupriya Pradhan and Suman Rai. Costume and make up of the models have been done by Robin Mukhia. The video was shot in three days at Arithang Kothi of Namcheybong, Pakyong.
The video is about unrequited love of a teenage girl and will be launched sometime in mid-June, the release informs. The video hopes to reach out to the international audience with talks going on with some TV channels of Nepal.
The song ‘Mann’ is written and composed by Sudarshan Tamang, music arrangement by Suren Basmay and was recorded at Ejaj Ali’s Strings studio in Darjeeling.
Remanti has expressed hope that her fans appreciate her hard work and also thanked her parents for their immense support and the ‘On Air’ team.
