GANGTOK, 01 June: The Sikkim Democratic Front party has said
that Sikkim Krantikari Morcha’s opposition to the “pro-Sikkimese” decisions
taken by its government proves that SKM is against Sikkimese interests.
An SDF press release states that dismissing pro-Sikkimese
decisions as “vendetta politics” proves that SKM is against Sikkim and
Sikkimese interests. SDF government has taken the decision to make Sikkim
Subject Certificates/ CoI mandatory for getting business license or taxi
permits to help the local people get more opportunities to flourish, the party
has said.
The release further states that the SDF government does not
need SKM publicity secretary Jacob Khaling’s advice on any of its decisions
taken for the public.
