GANGTOK, 10 Apr: ICFAI University Sikkim organised a farewell programme for the outgoing batches on 10 April. Students from various batches shared their experiences and thanked the University in helping them discover and nurture the real potential in them. The daylong programme included dancing, singing, sharing experiences, poetries followed by socials.
A press release informs that three students namely Leela Nepal, Om Dorji and Anuska Sharma were awarded with Gold Medals for their excellent academic performance. While on 09 April, a programme on recycling waste “Best out of Waste” was held. Students from various disciplines prepared various usable items from the recycled waste materials ranging from shopping bags, pen stands, robo-clock, paintings, water filters, village models etc.
Amongst all, the most creative article that drew everyone’s attention was the “green house” made from used plastic water bottles. The same was prepared by soft skills trainer Tenzin Choden’s “The Red Team” which bagged the 1st prize, the release informs.
