MANGAN, 06 Apr: The Congress’ Lok Sabha elections candidate, State Pradesh Congress Committee (SPCC) president Dr. AD Subba, along with candidates, Lachen-Mangan, Topden Lepcha, Dzongu, Penzong Lepcha and Kabi-Lungchok, Karma Tashi Bhutia and their supporters organized a general meeting at Mangan community Hall complex on 04 April.
Delivering the welcome address, Lachen-Mangan candidate of the Congress, Topden Lepcha urged for support to the Congress party which, he said, is the only national party that can provide the safest environment for the public and proper development in the state.
Dr. Subba in his address, said that the public should choose deserving and dedicated candidates in the coming assembly and parliamentary elections. He urged for votes stating that the Indian National Congress has deserving and wise candidates. Dr Subba, who is also the party’s Lok Sabha candidate, said he will try to bring positive changes for the state if elected as an MP. He promised to declare North district as an autonomous council, protect tribal seat reservation, solve unemployment and control the rising influx in Sikkim.
He further made an appeal for votes stating that only a national party can bring proper development and change in the state.
