GANGTOK, 30 June: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, NHPC Teesta Stage-IV HEP constructed a safety fencing around the Government Junior High School, Sangdong, campus in Lower Dzongu, North Sikkim.
The formal handing over of this infrastructure was held today in the presence of the School Management Committee, local Panchayat members, students and Officers from NHPC, as per a press release.
NHPC Teesta-IV Project also distributed solar lanterns in Dzongu and Mangshila area covering Gor, Sangdong, Hee-Gyathang, Lingdong, Chandey, Tingchim, Rangrang & Mangshila under CSR Initiative for the FY 2013-14.
