GANGTOK, 04 July: The Association of Old Settlers of Sikkim has thanked Gangtok MLA Pintso Chopel Lepcha for raising issues related to them during the recent Budget Session.
An Association press release issued by its president, RC Mundra, today, conveys the organisation’s thanks towards the MLA for having raised the issue of completion of Thakurbari Mandir and declaration of a cut-off year for old settlers.
It has now requested the State Government to “expedite solution” to issues raised by the Gangtok MLA.
