GYALSHING, 13 July [IPR]: The Chief Justice of Sikkim, Justice Narendra Kumar Jain was on a two-day tour to West District. On his arrival on 10 July, District cum Session Judge, Jyoti Kharga, Judicial Magistrate, Suberna Rai, DC, West, Chewang Gyatchho, Sr. SP, West, DB Giri, ADC, West, Bhim Thatal along with the Advocates and court staff gave him a warm welcome at District court, Rabdentse.
Justice Jain had a brief meeting where he enquired about the reason behind the delay in the construction of the new District Court at Kyongsa. Regarding the land issue for the establishment of Sub-Divisional Judicial court at Soreng, the DC clarified him that the land has been identified and the matter has been forwarded to higher authorities since it falls under Reserve Forest and would be executed soon after receiving clearance.
On the day second, Chief Justice visited the Pema Yangtse Monastery, Khecheodpalri Lake and offered his prayers.
