GANGTOK, 13 July: A counseling session on “Career Orientation on Life Skill Management” was held at Mellidara by Social Justice, Empowerment & Welfare Department for the youth who have completed 10+2 and Graduation recently. The counseling was provided by the Institute of Technology and Future Management Trends [ITFT] Education Group, Chandigarh.
A press release informs that during the programme, Chairman ITFT, Dr. Gulshan Sharma highlighted the different courses offered by ITFT where students will get 100% scholarship from the Government of India. Dr Sharma motivated and guided students to take up different vocational courses which are being offered by the college. More than 100 students attended the programme from Melli constituency.
President SICUN, Ganesh Kr. Rai also attended the programme and urged participants to avail the opportunity to acquire different trainings and skills which have been provided by the state as well as central government to become employable.
Panchayat members and public from different villages of Melli were also present and appreciated and thanked the department and ITFT College for the counseling, the release mentions.
